I already posted in audio/video forums but thought I would ask here just in case too. So I had my transmission rebuilt today (92,000) in my 05 F-150/FX4 and I take it home and notice the radio goes into a mute mode (no sound but stays on) when I put it in reverse. All other gears seem to work fine. Anyone had this happen before? I told the owner and he had never heard of it either. Stock unit, aftermarket speakers, amps, and subs, no reverse camera but I do have reverse aftermarket hitch lights. Only other thing I could think of is my aftermarket lights power wire got pinched when it went up on the rack and it is causing it to short. All battery connections seem fine. Thanks.
