Im starting to notice a few things going on with my truck, 04 f150 xlt 5.4. One this thing that i think might be with the transmission. It doesnt happen all the time, which is why its hard to pin point, but every once in a while when i take off or only going about 20-25mph and i hit the gas, i will hear a lound noise(almost like loud exhaust) and my rpms will not go up and it and will gain speed really slow? Then i let off the gas, and hit it again and then it will be back to normal?

Like i said it only happens once in a while, at most maybe once a week. I have had this happen at high speeds as well (prolly only about 8 times all year)

Anyone have any ideas what this might be? Or why my truck is doing that? I changed fuild at about 25,000 miles and i just went over 80,000, and i have the oil to change it again.
