Exclamation ATF Cooler

Hey F150online,I was wondering if anyone has installed a ATF cooler in their trucks,I just 100,000 miles in my truck and I plan on doing a tranny fluid change on my truck, but along with that I wanted to install a ATF cooler to help extend the life the freshly changed fluids.

I have a 2006 F150 4.6L Screw with the 4R75W transmission,I found a couple of coolers on etrailer.com but they different measurements, anyone know what is the right size is for the Screw trucks is or know how to measure for the right cooler?

Any info is greatly appreciated!

Hey.

I'm not Sam, but it appears as though some hose is supplied ( according to the 'Details' section for each unit ). You'd need to ensure the correct fittings are also supplied - so calling them would be a good idea.

BTW - get the largest Stacked Plate design they sell ( be careful - some of those shown are tube & fin - not good due to high pressure drop.).

This cooler goes between the output of the in-rad cooler and the return to the tranny.

I believe that these are the same ones that Troyer has listed on the site, only cheaper
