had a buddy rebuild trany. reverse wasn't working after transmission heated up. Worked at start up but drive a while and then no reverse.

So after he fixed it no problem for a few days. Then, same issue. We didn't replace valve body.

Its our second vehicle, but i want my truck back and reliable.

Is there anything else I need to check that we are overlooking? or is it the valve body? Any suggestions?
