2006 5.4 4x4 screw, under normal driving, all shifts are fine. when you floor it from a dead stop, it goes to shift to second, and hesitates before engaging third. its annoying. if you are already rolling (15 mph or so) and floor it, its fine.

anyone have a fix?

I think mine does the same thing. It's not like a new car/truck that when you floor it. It just goes and the shifts are effortless. I know it's not a new truck. But what needs to be replaced inorderc to achieve this OE feel.
