removing stripped transmissin bolt

I have a 2003 F150 truck and I have a problem. I need to remove the top two bolts on the transmission the only problem is they are stripped. anyone have any ideas to remove them. I'm afraid to drill them out for fear the shavings will get in the tranny. they are hard enough to get when they arn't stripped, so now I have no idea how to do this. Any ideas?

I would try using a stripped bolt remover socket, they basically cut into and grab the bolt head to break it loose.

Another option would be removing the upper intake from the motor and you should be able to access the bolts from the top side.
