Trans Question

When I take off slowly I can feel the trans engaging a little at a time. Kind of hard to explain, but feels like three different clutches engaging in a row at take off. It just feels a little unusual, but no problems as yet. Is this the transmission or the TC that is doing this? Is this something that needs to be taken care of right away or kind of a normal thing?

So, if you had a 4R75E with 100K+ miles on it and it was in pretty good condition, maybe a little slip, where would you go in Southern California to get fixed and what would you do to it? I have always wanted to put in a Whipple, but not there yet. Have a CAI and CB exhaust with custom 91 octane tune, daily driver and tow vehicle, but I do push it now and then getten on the on-ramp and such. Would like to go with a PI TC and have the transmission bullet proof, suggestions? I have searched the web, but there does not appear to be a lot of information when it comes to the 75E. Thanks

Well, the other day I decided to get under my truck and drop the drive shaft and check the U-joints. They all checked good. I replaced the drive shaft and the problem went away. The only thing I can think of doing differently is when I reinstalled the drive shaft I must have re indexed the splines going into the tail piece. Not sure how long it will last but it does not have the original problem. Drives like new.
