I am going to replace the trans mount and it looks fairly simple. Just wondered if there was anything I needed to watch out for? Anyone do this yet?

Appears to be a brace between the frame. Its bolted to the frame with 4 bolts on each side. In the middle of this brace you have the trans mount. Is it as easy as removing the brace (8 bolts), loosening the mount from the transmission and bracket, the replacing the mount and bolting the brace back in place?

Any words from the wise?

 

even easier. If you are just replacing the tranny mount, loosen the 2 bolts for the mount, and then get a jack and lift of the end of the tranny. Unbolt the mount completely, swap, drop and bolt.
