I have an 08 Supercrew FX4 with the console gear shift. Im having trouble getting the truck out of park. Sometimes it wont let me pull in the **** on the shifter that allows the truck to shift from park to drive. I usually have to keep pressing the **** several times until it finally gives in and lets me shift. Any ideas what could be causing this? I have a suspension lift on my truck. Could that be a factor?

Do your brake lights work? Are you pressing HARD on the brake pedal?
