I have a 97 f150 with a 4r70w in it. I took it out to rebuild it. The intermediate clutches were metal on metal and the forwards were almost shot. I have the new clutches assembled but do not know the placement of a snap ring and one larger one. The video and diary i read said the larger snap ring goes in to help position the reverse band. There are no slots for it what so ever. Does it just sit against the back of the case? Also the other one has extremely sharp ends that come to an angle where the space is. It is suppose to go on the reverse drum but there is a thin plate with two perturbing half circle parts on it. It goes on there also but I do not know the order. Does the snap go on, then the plate or vice versa. Any help is appreciated. Thank you in advance
