Had a problem with the truck sort of bucking around 40 MPH. Only when the driveline was not under load. Though it might be the slip yoke. So I pulled the drive-shaft. It was lubricated just fine and moving feely.
Checked the trans mount and noticed some movement. About 1/4 inch or so. Check my friends Tahoe and his entire truck moved when we pushed on the transmission, NOT the transmission.

Anyone know where I can get a trans mount for a 98 Expedition 5.4 (larger trans) 4X4???

I know I can get one from the dealer, but I thought I could get a better one or perhaps a cheaper one somewhere on the web???


BTW: I have 75K and have done a bit of towing with a 5,250 boat.

 

Energey Suspension makes them in polyurethane. Try Sumitt. I know when I called, they took a lot of time searching for what they could get for mine.
