Losing transmition fluid? need help please.

okay so up under the engine where the pipes split off and the transmission is.. there is a whole on the bottom and there was a plate there and the guy at auto zone said it was so u can take it off and check up in there but i dont remember what he called it.. anyway, there is transmission fluid coming out of it. he said that there could be a leak in the... fill pump or something like that?
Wondering if anyone could maybe help me out because what ever it is... has my truck smoking hardcore and iv got to fix it ASAP.
So if you can help i sure would appreciate it

oh and it only leaks after iv been driving it. like over night it dont sit there and leak just starts after a good bit of driving so it seems.

looks like a plate or something got knocked off cause i dont think its a good thing that i can see in there...? buddy said your supposed to be able to see the fly wheel. dont know if thats the case cause it sure looks like a plate is missing.

That hole is supposed to have a rubber plug in it - it's an inspection cover. If transmission fluid is leaking in that area, it's either a leak in the torque converter or the front seal.

right yeah, thats what the guy called it. he said that was no problem if its missing, just cover it up with something so dirt dont get in it. but the other picture it looks like a plate is missing or something which prolly aint good at all...?
and it is only leaking after driving around some so if there is a leak it has to be only when it shakes or moves or something like that..
