When I put it in revise it takes about 3 to 5 seconds to engage and when it dos it is slow to do so. As if the pressure belds up sloley.
A transmition shop said it is gone and need a rebuild.
Trans oil is clean and changed regularly. My truck is Scrow 5.4 2005, 136,000 mil.
Any advise on that.

Delay going into reverse seems fairly common from posts I have seen here.

My truck is also slow to engage reverse. I just wait with my foot on the break till I feel it engage and then back up as normal.

If this is the only issue you are seeing with your transmission I wouldnt worry about it.
