so i swapped a 4R75E into my 2000 5.4 almost 6 months ago, and am now noticing some issues. i did purchase the transmission used, it came out of an 07 with 44k miles on it. the main promlems im noticing are a rough downshift from 4th-3rd, or possibly OD- 4th. it also seems to need to search for the gears a bit more in higher gears. like if im in 4th, and take my foot off the gas for a moment, then apply the gas again it seems to rev a bit higher then find gear. any suggestions or comments? i remember hearing something about a harsh downshift and an easy fix?

 

Anyone? Anyone with a 4R75E experience anything similar?
