ok so i was wondering if my 2006 f150 5.4 that has the 4 speed transmission. i was wondering if i could put the 6 speed transmission the 09 and up f150s have in them. or would it be a bunch of work? thanks

 

The 6 speed has a computer all of it's own vs the 4 speed. Way to complex and not worth it. That was one of the hurdles with custom tuning. It wasn't just the PCM that had to be tuned, the tranny needed to be to on the 09's+ with the 6speed to have a good solid tune
