trans fault light with O/D light blinking

Hi guys i drive a 2007 screw fx4, i am having this issue since a week ago. truck runnig fine however when that happens the truck feels sluggish.

Any help will apreciatted.

what he said^^^ i just got my truck back from ford, it was doing the same thing. i had a burnt clutch in the transmission. no 1st or over drive. what where you doing when it started acting up? pulling, mudding, or just driving?

I had the same problem.Ford replaced a shift solenoid and wire harness in the tranny.

75K miles.I have 79K on it now.

Once I had a headache. I took some aspirin and I felt better later. About as relevant. It is IMPOSSIBLE to remotely diagnose a transmission fault based on a single experience and zero data.... your particular experience is probably not relevant except by coincidence.

There are numerous electrical components and dozens of mechanical parts that can cause a flashing O/D light. Unless someone gathers information and performs some type of diagnosis, you might as well fart into a hurricane.

Happened to mine, lost 1st and R for a day, then there was a loud clunk and everything started working again. Less then 500 miles later I had to replace the transmission when after losing 3rd and OD.

Shrot answer is, get it checked out soon.

Thanks guys for your replys sorry took forever to respond i found out what is causing the light, looked under the truck and is leaking oil, so truck is in the shop now.

Took mine {2006, 5.4, SC) in for this Thursday. Both low and OD out. $3,000 for the transmission brings the total to just shy of $7,000 in the last 90 days,

It's going on the block the moment I get it back.
