Help.. I have a 1999 AWD 5.4 Eddie Bauer Expedition and I need to know what kind of transmission it may have.. I have no numbers off of it but I do know it has a drain bolt for the tranny fluid if that narrows it down.. also dont know if the transmission or torque is bad.. When I start it and let it run I can put it in either reverse or drive and it will not move unless I floor it and then it barley moves but does move? please help.. Im trying to fix it just enough to sell it, Brand new motor and air suspension so I cant afford to dump much more into it without breaking even// thanks in advance!

do you have a check engine light and flashing overdrive light? I recently got a short from one of my o2 sensors that caused it to blow a certain fuse which put the whole thing in limp mode and like you said would barely move even if you gave it a ton of gas...once I figured out what it was, fixed the short, put a new fuse in it drove perfect again. if you have CEL or blinking OD light find a way to check the codes first!
