I found a zf transmission

I found a zf transmission
it is a zf5 S5-42 can anyone tell me if I should not buy that one and wait till I can find a later model one (it came out of a 1988-1993 f250)

Good for parts only. It has the 5.0 non modular bellhousing. It will not bolt up.
