Transmission fried 70,000 miles
Well this morning my OD light was flashing and when I got to work it started jump gears & slip so after work I got the codes P0712 and P1783 and took it to the dealer they removed the pan and said metal in trans something is coming undone has big chucks of metal advise on remain trans for $2750.00 I said thank you and took it to a trans place I was lucky I made it there. The truck would not go in rev after I got there so i was stuck the guy said he could rebuild it for $1600.00 OTD with 1 year 12,000 miles hope I did the right thing. 2000 F150 4.6L 4070w
