not sure

I have a 1996 f-150 4x4 with 351. Seams to have a slight hesitation at certain speeds, almost like the transmission is slipping, when i give it some gas , it goes away , or i have to let off gas then accelerate again for it to smooth out. Usually right around 60mph then again at 70ish. I have changed out trans fluid and filter, replaced universal in drive shaft . But , when machanic was changing this he calls me and tells me i need a new driveshaft , when i called back letting him know i found one he says nevermind i got it back in. Now , my transfer case is leaking where the driveshaft enters......and this problem occurs. I do not use this guy any more due to other problems , i do not have reciepts for work done, stupid me saving a few bucks!!! Any ideas , could my drive shaft be warped or unbalanced??? help

just a passing thought....but in short yes.
not completely sure...but it might be the end bearing on the tranny/t case....if it is too sloppy, could cause some harmonic issues. and yes the drive shaft could need re-balancing too.

could be the torque converter giving early signs of fatigue.

best to take it to a reputable tranny shop & give it a once over
