Sprung a good transmission leak (manual 5 speed)..must be coming from a front seal.

When I have the transmission out can I replace the seal (is there a seal?)without taking the tranny apart? Got to do the clutch might as well do it all.

 

Found answer. Small front cover is removed and seal can be replaced. Tranny shop quoted $20.00 parts and labor while they were doing the clutch.
