Hi all,
can someone tell me what trans is in a 05 5.4 2 wheel drive?
I want to buy a Mag-Hytec pan and they list a 4R70W but I looked up specs on my truck and it says 4R70E not sure what the difference is? or is it basically the same trans?

No worries, they're identical.

 

I thought the 05 had the 4r75 in it?

But yeah. They use the same pan.

You can always read the "TR" code on your door tag, then look it up to determine which transmission was installed at the factory.
