Transmission ID help

I received my transmission today, and just want to confirm it's a 4R75E. This is the sticker on the transmission. The number is similar to the 4R75E, but I couldn't find anything for it

The only Google hit I get on that part number is a recycler selling one on Ebay. He says it's out of a 2008 F-150 with a 4.6 and has "4R75E" in parentheses. I may be wrong, but I thought the NBS 4.6's used a 4R70E. Maybe i'm thinking of the V-6's. I dunno.

If I remember correctly the 4R75E comes with the 3V 4.6s. The 4R70 was only the 2V 4.6.

An 08 would only be a 2V. The 3V used the 6R80.

Yeah, I'm
A little iffy about this. Is there any other way to tell if it's a 75E without tearing it apart? I'm
Just a little iffy about putting it in. It's goin into a 2000 5.4, and I have the EPC solenoid and a tune specifically for the 75E that wouldn't work on the 70, die to OSS count. Or maybe I'm wrong

Those Tags don't really offer a way to decipher. The door jam tag of the doner or drop the pan, - sometimes it will be written in yellow or blue die on components.
