B&M Transmission pan alteration

Is it ok to grind 1/8 inch off my B&M tranny pan to make it fit around tranny mount on aft side of pan?

On the flange, that should be OK. If it is on the thickness of the pan, probably not a good idea.

B&M pan

Yea, thats what I meant, where the bolts mount. Thanks for the clarification. I was alittle concerned about the edge distance to the bolt hole, hoping it will not crack, but torque value specs (according to B&M) is 10ft/lbs so I hope it's not too much stress. Thanks for reply.
