Long story short I'm going to have to drop some coin on my wife's Expy's transmission. It's an 04 EB Expy,. trans code W. It's begun hesitating going into reverse and slips when it should be shifting from D to OD. It has 114k on the clock and given my driving style that's right in the window for how long it takes me to kill and auto trans.

I did buy it used so I don't know if it was ever used to tow a house or anything. It has seen some ****ty stop and go traffic on occasion.

We were driving once and felt a shudder and it never happened again. After reading around on the net I'm not sure if it was the snap ring going out on OD. I also read that it could be a valve body that's causing the problem.

What's the average rebuild cost around your area for one of these pigs?
