Checking accumulator ?
Checking accumulator ?
I have a friend of my wife with a trans issue. I did the search and I think the direction I need to go is the 1-2 accumulator and or spring.
Question is can the accumulator be diagnosed with out removing the pan?
If so how? Before you flame on me for a dumb question remember this info/issue is comming from one woman given to another woman then I get the order to fix it!
The truck is having a hard shift from 1st to 2nd and she said maybe into 3rd also (remember woman to woman to me!).
Truck is 1995 F-250 2wd, reg cab, 460 motor, auto trans. 16,xxx miles.(not a typo sixteen thousand some odd miles)
Bought new and used to haul horse feed and trailer her horses so it sits alot.
Is it possible that it could be gummed up from sitting or.....?
Any help is appreaciated and thanks in advance.
