2004 Ford F150 lariat SC 4x4 Slipping in Reverse

Got about 90k on the motor and have been noticing that the tranny is slipping in reverse, feels like it hesitates for about a second or two, then engages. Once warm, dont get the feeling as much from the tranny. Is there something I should no about this issue? Was not like this before. Have a edge programmer, 33" mud tires, but pretty much stock.

Thanks

Have you ever had the tranny fluid changed?

Take it in to a shop that has a fluid exchange machine, and get it all replaced. Just dropping the pan only drains about 1/3 of the fluid.

Tranny

UPDATE: Changed the oil (all of it) in the tranny and filter, was ok for a bit but got right back into the same routine, but over the course of the summer it got worse. A few days ago, we had some cool weather in the morning before work. Went to start it up, give it a minute to warm up then put it in reverse,,,,, no reverse! I shut off the truck and started it again,,,,, still nothing,,,,, revved it up to about 2k and the truck SLOWLY moved in reverse, it was JUST enought to get out the parking lot. Took it straight to the dealership. I have the extended warrenty to 100k's, they better warrenty this problem. Has anyone had this same problem. Some posts on the net say it is the reverse band. Not to sure. Thanks
