Unless it's been built, I doubt the AOD will hold up to the torque that engine puts out. Ford never put it in anything bigger than a stock 302.

Giving up on AOD... I got the 4bt with flywheel and small-block adapter so I am having the local yard pull me a 4 plus od stick with the pre-modular small-block bell 87 to 93? Are these transmissions any good? Then I picked up the pedal set from a pull-it yard. Hopefully the clutch master will adapt. probably will have to make a drive shaft. trans mounts, what else? Thanks
