They are both working.

OK I dont know if this has something to do with the brake pad change i just did but now when I come to a stop I feel a slight shudder/vibration. I dunno if this is the driveline or something related to the brake pad change.

Did you turn or replace the rotors?

No I did not. I have about 40k on them now and I just put TQs on the truck before the factory pads were totally gone. It happens when coming to a pretty good stop, almost feels more like the driveline is still wanting to go and the truck has stopped.

The new pads were flat but your rotors were not. The pads are trying to grind themselves to the grooves in the rotors. Live with it or reface the rotors and replace the pads.

Well they eventually mate or will it always be like this? I guess I could change rotors.

They will seat and you will be fine if your rotors were not scored up too bad or warped. I have just flipped pads in many times if the rotors were in decent shape.

Ive put over 1000 miles on the new pads, how long will they take to seat? My rotors were not bad at all. I changed the pads well before they needed to be changed.

And let me explain better what I am feeling, it bascially when you come to a complete stop and hit the brake to come to a stop right behind a white line or another car. It almost feels like the like the drive line is coming to such a abrupt stop it shakes a little to get rid of the motion. It does not happen while braking, only right when the truck comes to a halt.
