Raced hard Vs. uncles 06 2500 ram

So I have a 01 Expo with a 4r100 and a shift VB upgraded by a very reputable guy on LR.com. Now here’s the issue I cleaned my uncles clock with 2006 ram 2500 5.7 hemi at 14 psi he was neck and neck until second gear. I now have to let off the gas in second to make it up shift. If you try to punch it at less then 65mph it will just red line the engine kind of like throwing a high rev in a manual transmission. Any thing above 75mph and it pulls hard just as before? I replaced the shift pack back in March of 09 with a new one not rebuilt at least so it said on eBay. The funny thing when I got it last year it said diesel on it and my truck is a gas engine. The only up side I have seen is my truck will hit 15psi when I'm just stepping on it hard and it would normally only show 11 to 14psi between shifts. There is no freeze frame or dtc being thrown? I would\d think if it’s a physical mechanical break down it would throw the dtc in a heart beat WTF. I must say though its kind of fun for the first time to see the real power band from 2ed gear to 3ed keeping in mind I have to let off it for a few seconds to let it up shift. It would make a strong felling to pull along side a stock stang at 2500 rpms at 25 mphs and punch it knowing it would hold the shift to 5K + but at the same time not to cool because it never did this before. What do you guys think my tuner wants $35 just to check it out WHAT TO DO?

Guess it’s not the TPS switch I’m getting with the engine off .96-.97 closed and 4.64 at wot open
I guess its either going to be a shift solenoid pack or TQ or the Shift kit VB is broken or malfunctioning. I just can’t believe the truck hasn’t thrown a code with over 400 miles of driving it like this?

check the tag on the side of the transmission and see if it has a J1 on it...

otherwise id say the 2 clutch is worn and cant complete the shift under hard throittle. this is very common!

Paul please read. Update date. So I think I was a little wrong on which gear holds the shift in longer. I now believe it’s the 1to2 and it will slip into neutral when I floor it any thing beyond 35mph up 70 and anything after 70mph it does just fine.

The truck finally gave up an unrelated P0442 and a pending P1121 so even thou I used my multi meter to check the tps switch which checked out ok I bought a new one for the hell of it was only $30 bucks.

I unplugged the Battery cable for 15mts and still the same crap. I just can’t believe a 2001 truck wouldn’t throw a code if it was a hard part failure or that it wouldn’t even make the O/D light blink. Here are some pics of the tag you told me to check. The other pick is another part I was wondering about.

I also cleaned the MAF with electric connector cleaner MFG by crown. One thing I remember is prior to this issue I tried a new air filer that was soaked with k&n oil but I cleaned the hell out of the maf and it seemed all good and I just put my old filter back on sense my truck ran like **** with the new one. I would think the bad maf would show up on my wide band afr?

So my tuner said it had to be the VB Paul AKA the Punisher sold me. UH NO!!!!!!!!
Paul's products and customer service are second to NONE. Paul told me these 4r100 have weak spots and he was DAM right =(. I found this crap stuck to the magnet. So I guess its time to get a built transmission that can handle 14psi and more when the time comes. BTW Paul told me it wasn’t his VB but just to humor me he mailed me a new VB free of charge. I haven’t run across to many people like him.
