Need help! Shifting problems when cold

I have a 2005 f150 fx4 with the 5.4L, yesterday i left in my truck and it was about 15 degrees when i was pulling out of my neighborhood i gave it gas and shifting into second it kinda bogged down and jurked almost like it was slipping and then i would try to give it gas and it wouldnt rev up until about 5 seconds. Then once the engine warmed up it ran just fine. Anyone else had these problems??
Thanks,

Mileage?

How many miles on the truck? That jerky action may be a bad coil or two.
Did you get a check engine light?

No lights come on. It has 65k miles. I pretty sure it has nothing to do with the transmission, it does not jerk. Just really sluggish and takes for ever once it goes into second to get to third. Once it shifts it drops to about 800 rpms and very slowly works it way to the next gear without getting over 1700rpms. When i first get in it after letting it set for hours. The pedal is really touchy and jumps and bogs.
