Unhappy Tranny gone again!!!

Ok so I have a 97 4x4 with the 4R70W tansmission this is the second time its crapped out on me the truck only has 95000 on it. It was rebuilt the firsttime at 49000 miles by the Ford dealership this was shortly after getting the truck so I cant sy how it was run before me. I do run 305's and drive fairly aggresively but should this really be happening so often. I did get stuck in the snow and was rocking her back and forth a little when I lost forward gears so mybe it is my fault. Anyway getting to the point Im replacing it with a Monster Transmission its the Mega Monster and the performance 1600 to 1800 heavy duty stall converter in hopes to aliviate this happenng again. Has anyone previously delt with this company they seemed reputable I hope this will be a good upgrade. Any feedback on the company or there parts would be appreciated thanks guys.

I am having this transmission istalled at the local AMMCO dealer. I asked him about rebuilding my transmission prior to ordering this one with heavy duty parts he said they are not made for this model transmission is this true or dothey just rebuild tostock specs? Also I asked about a shift kit and he did not recommend them I know shift firmness would be stronger thus losing the smoothness but I dont mind that. Ive always heard that shift kits wuld help the transmissions life span is this true or not. Also going to be puting Amsoil transmission fluid back in will this help?

your trans guy is not willing to sell you stuff he doesnt stock....he either doesnt have a supplier or just doesnt care. either way he is BSing you.

Id definatly be putting a shift kit in, id go with this one http://www.factorytechtransmissions....PROD&ProdID=19

Id put a temp gauge in too and maybe add a better cooler...

#1 what gears do you have? if you have too high of gears then that's contributing to the tranny's shortened life span

#2 there may be more to this story about your tranny guy.

#3 amsoil, some like it some don't I have no experience with thier fluids but I am running a couple amsoil oil less filters

#4 rocking back and forth, probably heated up the trans...

#5 lets hope the stall doesn't work against you (if you have high gears and your tires, you'll be unhappy)

Do NOT take your truck to this Douche. You can answer your own questions abut "performance parts" on the Monster site. They tell you exactly what they do to the R470W. Because he is using the AMMCO name he may not be able to do anything other than OEM. Find your self a "Real" tranny shop.
Also, answer the questions about gears. You may be running a 3.55 and should consider 4.10's with your 305 tires.

Ok so I got my truck back today... Ive never driven a vehichle with a shift kit so Im going to ask a few questions. First off when you pull it into drive it seems to ingauge a little hard. As you get on the gas it feels goo goinggthrough th upshifts. But if you turn off ovedrive when it downshifts it does it hard and with a thump and jarring feeling. Also does it intermitimtly from 2nd to first on rolling stops. The transmissin was bought from eat my shift and is the mega monster... The AMMCO dealer thnseither a valve body is sticking or is a pressure soelinoid problem called Monster and they said it was fine to deliver it it just needed a break in period. Have a 3 yr unlimited milag warranty through them so should I be concerned in my opinion it is downshfting to hard bu not eery time any help is appriciated I am no mechanic by any means...
