aod parts

alright my trannies warranty ends in a couple months and i'm looking to beef it up soon. i would like to know where i could find/order a wide ratio gear set with the 2.84:1 1st gear for an aod? and i am planning on getting a stronger 2 piece input shaft so i still have lockup and should still hold up to what i'm doing which isnt anything serious, and i'm figuring around a 2400-2500 stall convertor, unless someone has a better idea? the trucks my everyday driver and i do tow with it every now and then. i'd like to hear other ideas as well

another idea i had was possibly getting an aodew and rebuilding it and getting a tranny controller for it.

thanks for any help.

If I were going to go through the trouble to convert to an electronic tranny, I'd probably try to adapt a E4OD.

i was considering that today, especially after talking about lifting my truck 2 more inches in the front and rear and sticking 33"s under it. i'm gonna look into some more options here.

Then again, if you can do without overdrive, you could drop a C6 in there and never break it - and not have to worry about electronic control.
