I have 95 f150 with a e40d in it and the problems i have are not all of the time. When it acts up it slams into reverse and seems to lundge when put in drive and as soon as i syart to move it changes gears and then shifts to next gear a few minutes later and sometimes it will run a high rpm until it changes gears especially when it is cold. I know when it the engine is cold and after the idling comes down and i shift into reverse it gas a slight jerk but after it warms up it does fine. I had the same problem a good while back when the warrant was on it and the dealership replaced the tranny with a used one instaed of a new one. I never had the proble again till a few days ago and now it is doing fine again. Can anyone help me
