Can I use a cobra trans?

Can I use a cobra trans?

Wanting to know if the t45 or newer 03 cobra trans will bolt up to my 4.6? Help please.

The modular engines have the same bellhousing bolt pattern so they will bolt up.
You may have to line up the transmission mounts but that is not a big problem.
You may not like the gear ratios. 1st gear on he T45 is only 3.27:1 and the M5OD is 3.90:1. The T45 will only support 325ft/lbs of torque. Not much more than the M5OD. While the other Tremic transmissions will support more torque the gear ratios are not suitable for a truck.

thanks guys. Have a 4:10 gear now. wouldnt that help with the cobra ratio?
