Having some issues on my truck. Will be doing some
checking this weekend to see if it's the solenoid
assembly. How hard are these to replace? My
Haines book is worthless. Is there a cover plate
that allows access? Symtoms are noted when
slowing down, it seems to have syncing, (lock-up)
issues as it slows down. Slight mashing sound noticed twice.
Then tried to turn for home, slowed down to 30MPH
for a town, and now it won't lock up. Towed it back home.
Rolls freely in Park. Suspect electrical issue. Tranny was
rebuilt only a couple years back. Anyone have some insight
for me thanks. Oh yeah ..new user here!!
