C6 fluid change

I am set on changing the fluid on my 71 C6. I have the change kit from autozone, but just want to make sure I remember how to do this right.
I plan to pump the oil out from the fill hole as much as I can, then drop the pan, also isn't there a bolt in the converter to drain that from the little inspection cover spot.
So am I forgetting anything??

Thanks

Try just the new fluid first - if it leaks, then try a bottle of Lucas tranny additive.

C6's prior to 1977 require Type F fluid, and you CANNOT use Mercon.
