I certainly agree that the 5.4 trucks are more fun and more capable. If money were no object I would drive the maxed-out truck, but at this point in my life, I would rather drive a V6 F150 than no F150 at all.
thanks i needed that started to feel kinda beat up there for a minute when i get it running correctly maybe i will work on mileage/perfomance the old boy in austin swapped intake and fuel injection he claims hes getting 23 plus depending on driving habits. i rebuilt a 69 with a three on the tree 240 straight under the hood it would pull a32 foot rv at 80 mph and get about 32 yes 32 mpg doing it. but then all my final adjustments werent factory but seat of the pants.thats what needs to be done is come back with the straight 240 6 cyl. pulls like a mule and gets good milage doing it. and and lasts forever, nearly then bring back the plane jane c-6 with the dana 60 differentials and transfercase man now that would be a ford 4x4.hmm
