i have an 01 4x4 with an 03 L engine in it. i have 35 inch tall tires and 4:10 gears. my truck makes 510 ft/lbs at the wheels so i will need to build up my trans here soon. i have rebuilt a few automatics in school before and i know a ford trans tech who will come over and watch me stack it to make sure i dont do anything stupid. but i was wondering where to get the parts. i know performance industries makes a good converter. but what about the best rebuild kit. hardened input, intermediate, and output shaft. i have heard of kevlar coated drums.
