so recently i put a trans temp gauge on my 01 5.4 and ive noticed things that were making the trans overheat(or coming close to) that make me want better cooling, it has the factory tow package. i was thinking of replacing the factory aux cooler with one of these http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku
usualy when it gets hot its when im moving slow so i figured this would help, but should i replace the factory aux or ad to it? i think replacing it would be a neater install but will it work good

A cooler with a fan is obviously better than a cooler without a fan. But first of all, how high are your temps getting? I have the B&M Hi-Tek on my truck. Also consider getting a Mag Hytec transmission pan. They are deeper, have cooling fins, and a magnetic drain plug.
