Strange Noise

Hey, not sure if this is the right place to post but, I have a 2003 f150 4.2l that is making a strange noise. The noise sounds like something rubbing or grinding but only happens at a certain point during acceleration. The noise can be described as sounding like un-oiled metal parts squeaking or it sounds like a belt squeaking. It only makes the noise in first second and third gears and only when accelerating. The noise does not happen in reverse, neutral, or when the clutch is depressed. I had it in neutral and revved the engine which did not produce the noise. I also depressed the clutch while moving on the road and revved the engine and did not get the noise. I don't thinking it's a belt because it only happens when the engine is under load in 1st, 2nd, or 3rd. The truck has 55,000 miles on it. I haven't noticed mechanical problems, its just annoying. Any advice would be appreciated.
