Driving a 4x4

Driving a 4x4

SHould i be able to drive my 2004 f150 4x4 around town on asphalt in 4 wheel drive?

uh, it aughta do it but you'd be asking to get slapped along side the head cause thats hell on parts. really not the wisest place to do it, high risk of binding and such.

Only time i use 4x4 on asphalt is when pulling the boat out of the water. Weird felling when turning with 4wd on it

yea, one morning i went to cut the air off after parking and somehow turned the 4x **** without knowing. dont ask me how cuz i dont know.

anyway, came out of school, started the truck, tried turning and things just weren't good. noticed my 4 HI light was on so i flipped the **** and everything was good.

moral of the story, don't do it unless you have to.
