Are these transmissions proven, or are they brand spankin new? I am considering an 09 supercrew, but I'm leary about reliability, considering my 05 5.4 motor hydrolocked due to a stuck injector? Not to sure i want to spend the money to find out, Oh they found it was a bad design.

 

Most people have been raving about how great they are. The injector thing was a mistake but it seem as if Ford did do some thinking finally and fixed the spark plug issue as well. If you can afford it get an '09 and post some pics.

It's already been in the Expedition for a couple years with no known issues that I have heard of- not even once on here (unless I missed it).

 

Correct, they have been used in the Expy since 2007 with no known problems.
