Rolling speed no throttle

So I bought my 04 FX4 in december and I've noticed it barley rolls when I let off the brake in drive, and not at all if I'm slightly uphill. Of course its better when the tranny is cold-it acts like I think it should. I've had a lot of automatics and this seems strange to me. No other tranny problems or noises. Just curious if mine is doing something all the rest do.

this is not a problem with your tranny... if you really want to be able to go fast while idling, adjust your idle speed.
consider how much your truck weighs.lol its heavy!
