So as many of you know i got a new trans from tranzparts :o. well i got in in today (one other thing to note, i hooked the starter bu backwards, +/-, -/+, you know... well i hooked the battery up for about 5 secs, and the smoke started to roll) but anyways, im still having the same trouble being stuck in 2ed gear... anyone have any ideas? im gussing the trans i pulled out was good and i wasted $1000! im thinking eather the ECM or wiring harnes. any ideas let me know... or if you just want to raz me for hooking up the starter wrong go ahead i deserve it...

 

Here are the CELs i have on the factory tune, and the Overdrive "off" light is flashing, no codes on bills tunes and runs fine (except being stuck in 2ed) and the truck runs like *** on factory tune... like it barly runs.

bet the harness is burned now or was previously damaged.

 

yah i would check over the harness from PCM to trans. Might need a new PCM?

 

well now youve got it narrowed down. your obviously looking at an electrical issue, all those codes basically says dude, its not hooked up one way or another. pull your harness out.
