My Shifter on colum is out of alignment won't go up into park and then everything is like 1 notch off to right drive is 2nd, 2nd is 1st and past 1 is 1st,then drive is neutral and neutral is reverse and reverse is park. Any Ideals on what needs fixed trans works fine just something in shifter got out of alignment.1999 f150 4x4 5.4 .Thanks for anyhelp Steve

 

if your trans is still doing exactly what it should, has 6 positions and selector **** goes to same height as b4 when in park ck & fix or replace indicator assembly..

 

look way up under the dash on the colum, it's alot easier if u take that knee panel off, and you will see a lil flimsy white L shaped bracket, with a thin white string thing going through it with an adjuster screw , thats how u adjust that little indecator arrow.
