Transmision problem. Need help please!

After the second year on my 2004 F-150 XLT 5.4L, the transmision will go like on neutral after 30 mph. If I disconect the overdrive before initial acceleration the problem would not happen.

Anyone has a guess on what is happening? Could it be a sensor?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.
Jaime

thanks

Is like it looses the gear. The rpm goes to 5000 without engaging. If I keep accelarating it will kick very hard on the gear.
thanks for your help.
