has anyone out there ever had issues with their brake-shift interlock? My ford dealer says that everything is fine with my truck but I still can't get it out of park without using the override button on the side of the shifter. Further research, they now tell me that I need to replace my entire shifter and it is a common problem. I have never heard of it. by the way 2004 f150 supercrew FX4. The "insignificant" cost for this procedure... only $590.
