stupid question but Hopeful
I am in the process of pulling my tranny because either oil got on the clutch or the slave cylinder is messed up
now for the stupid question do I have to replace the clutch if oil got on it or is there a way to clean it up and keep it from slipping...
pause for possible laughter to subside
I only ask because I am trying to save my self some money that I do not have, if I have to then I will go ahead and replace it.(which I probably should do anyways since I have it off, and I probably should fix the rear main seal since that is probably what caused it.)

You need to inspect and replace the clutch if it is severely worn (friction material is similar to brake pads and will wear down to the rivets), if oil contamination is present (very hard for a rear main to work its way around a flywheel to soak a clutch. Plus, they don't leak very often). Before you remove the tranny, pop the rubber plug out of the driver's side of the bellhousing and look inside. Your problem is most likely due to just a worn out clutch, and or a leaking clutch slave cylinder. You could end up with about $300-400 in parts if you replace the clutch kit and slave cylinder.
