Who has installed a drain plug in their Torque Converter??

I am wanting to conduct my own Transmission change and want to drain the fluid in the converter as well. Problem is Ford decided to do away with the drain access that I had on my 2001 Supercrew. Now with my 2005 SCREW 5.4 I can't do it like I'd like. I have just under 40,000 miles to date and tow a Bassboat quite a bit so I'd like to change it out. I have heard of people installing a drain plug in the Torque converter but would like to see an example of this somewhere or a decription on how to do it. Thanks in advance for any help

if you own a convertor shop, then by all means, do it. if not, then it won't hurt to drop the pan a little more often. btw, if you loosen the vb bolts a couple of turns the convertor will drain, it just takes a while.
